Lewis, William - portrait of West Point Cadet
This miniature portrait is unsigned, but has been attributed to William Lewis. The unidentified sitter appears to be wearing the uniform of a West Point cadet. 852
The term "historical detective" may sound a little strange, but is the easiest way to express the intent of this research.
